Patients who have undergone the Fontan procedure are at risk for a variety of atrial and ventricular tachyarrhythmias, resulting from both altered substrate for arrhythmias and altered hemodynamics. These arrhythmias will be reviewed, as well as the armamentarium of management tools, including drug therapy, antibradycardia, pacing, antitachycardia pacing, surgical ablation and catheter ablation. Despite this variety of tools, management of these arrhythmias remains a challenge.
